Cure my speculation
I have a 1997 Sniper that i am interesting in ccm'ing even further. I already have the pump kit and the 86 frame but i would like the bolt/backblock and all the lower tube internals.
So my questions are:
Which lower tube kit will fit? the AC one or the SS25 one?
And if i bought the back block as well, will the 2k bolt fit on the pre-2k marker?
~For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.~
Bought something from me or sold something to me?
Leave some feedback!

CCM's standard AC internals will work in your gun.
My Feedback lots of happy customers, no unhappy ones

I am unsire on the bolt, I am not sure if they make a pre2k specific bolt or not. The internals will definetly work unless you have a non threaded IVG lower tube. The standard internals are what you need, the ss25 internals are for the newer style cocker internals like trilogys and other 05+ guns w/ the Spyder like valve body.
I am sure someone can give you a definate answer on the bolt and backblolck, I bet the backblock will work but I don't know for sure on the bolt itself.

So long as you change the backblock and bolt to the same era both WILL work. The internals will work as well, and if you do change them plenty of people will want your stock set for 12 gram setups.
Personally if it's going to run on CO2 I'd leave the valve alone.
