Where do all of the CCM barrels go?

I don't need another CCM gun but I still look through the BST's here and "other places" just to see what's out there on the market.

I would say about half of the CCM guns I see do not have a CCM barrel with them. What's up with that? Do people just horde barrels?

Its a little bit cheaper with out the barrel. I didn't buy a barrel with my 6.5 because i have a DW fibur barrel. Also right now the only barrel CCM offers is a 10" barrel with a 2" sizer. When the new 14" barrel comes out though I'll be ordering a full kit.

A lot of people just lose them when they upgrade or give them away when they stop using it..more of them are probably misplaced than anything.

Many people think you need to upgrade the barrel on everything in order for it to shoot well, also a lot of people order the guns minus the barrels to save $ and use their current barrel. I love my CCM barrels, matching anno'd barrels are a nice touch, and they shoot great, no real need to "upgrade" a CCM barrel at all, in most cases a different barrel would be a downgrade IMO.

Most people are pretty picky about their barrels. I'd assume they opted to order the gun without the barrel to save cost or use a preferred barrel they already own.

While I wish the CCM barrel control backs were slightly longer, they still work great. I'm also excited to see the new gun had a 14in barrel, instead of the 12in.

I figured that's where mine went. Of course it might still be in my gearbag... I can't find a damn thing in there! I would lose my guns if they weren't in cases! hah

Me as well. I like my CCM barrels but I find myself constantly putting on my DW fibur.
