S5 question

so why do some S5's have the rail on top and others are rounded? is one rarer than the other?

i believe it was just earlier body styles and they just changed them somewhere down the line. i know my right feed has the rail on it.

When I was making bodies for CCM back in 2000.
The bodies that didn't meet spec on the barrel to bore dim. something like
.0015 TIR. Jason would reject that body.

I would cut the rail off and sell it as a e-bay body.


That is why there is bodies out there with rounded tops.

They are not really rare.
