If that's what it looks like (left side fed) I'll be all over this.

Here is a pic of the mag feed.

Of course this is a crude prototype model.

We will make it all pretty.

I would think the mag out the right side would be more practical. I am right handed and sight down the left side of the gun and this would be right in the way sticking out the left side. I know I am not the only one who shoots like this. Awesome idea either way but I would think a right side feed would be more popular.

I just based it off of real steel guns.

I have never seen a right feed.

Even belt feed is left to right.

I have seen real steel out the left side, it makes sense as your left hand is free from the trigger for a right handed shooter and you sight down the top. I know some people sight down their paintball markers top side but I think the majority sight down the side. It probably wouldn't be hard to just turn it 180degrees and make it right side feed. Maybe offer both versions. I think vert feed would look odd and defeat the spring loaded clip idea. I am looking forward to seeing this idea evolve.

I'm a lefty and I too would prefer it on the right side- to keep it behind my cover. Maybe, you could make it flip-able with detachable Picatinny?

Then you'll be forcing yourself to switch hands to change mags. Not very efficient imo.

Love it Bill! Left side ftw.

Left side! I'm right handed and putting it on the other side would make it stick out of cover and would take longer to change how I hold the gun to reload.

Make it so that the mag points towards the back? That way it's more ambidextrous, and it keeps a lower target profile? I'm not a machinist, so I have no idea how much harder that would be to make.

I think most right/warp/magazine feed shooters just aim over the top of the gun. Do you use centerfeed for the most part? Maybe they will have to make a bren gun for you
