barrel breaks and air seals

so I got my new shiny t2 out for play for the first time last weekend, and had some problems, any help would be appreciated

first off, I matched the paint to the barrel sizer (I'm using the stock ccm barrel) and then used the next smallest insert. I shot a few, and broke probably one out of ten, using a good squeegee after every break, even after going up two insert sizes, and getting roll outs, I still broke about one in fifty, keep in mind these were all barrel breaks, no paint in the chamber/bolt face.

Here's where it starts to pertain to my ccm barrel. They all broke right where the back meets the front, or just before. I also noticed that I was getting paint/air spraying out from the holes in the sizer, and it quickly coated my pump rods and body.

I guess what I'm asking is if all of these breaks are due to crappy winter paint, or the barrel itself, and if there should be an air seal between the two pieces of the barrel.

Thanks
Jon

Your barrel and sizer are screwed together all the way right. I'll have to double check but I think my barel has an oring on it, don't quote me just yet though.

Also double check that the sizer and barrel are aligned properly, you can't see an edge or lip of the barrel when looking in through the sizer.

That is odd. THere is a recessed o-ring in the Barrel 'tip' (front) - is yours there?

There should only be one o-ring on your barrel.
