SS-25 consistency question/ Trigger frame swap out question

Hi CCM lovers, I was recently thinking of dropping some more money into my ss-25 but first wanted to know what the differences are compared to my s6 or say a s6.5 when it comes to consistency. Is there any difference in lug/ internals that would make a newer gun like a S6 shoot any more consistent or efficient?

I also wanted to know if I was going to run into any hang-ups trying to put on a "new style" thin 45.
I have a extra skeleton a/t that was supposed to be for a s6.5 86 frame. will this fit with a new style thin 45? will the A/T rub on the body or should it be fine?

heres the A/t

thanks for the help everyone!

With fresh high quality paint, a slight underbore and a clean marker your ss-25 will be just as consistent as a s6.5. And nope you will have no issues installing a thin 45 frame onto it, just be careful not to lose the pins.

Ss-25> newer Ccms. Love mine. Indestructible. Always consistent. They key is to set it and forget it. I havnt had the gun apart since I got it. Adjusted the ivg a couple times and that's it

the a/t should fit. i believe they changed the cam design at some point when they went from the ball/spring to the pin.

as for efficiency on the 25, its probably not going to be as efficient as an s6. just the way it is.

Disagree Artguy. A friend of mine ran his S6p (SS-25 with different milling) regulated on 12 grams and used to get about 30 shots per 12ie.

I have found they are just as efficient as S6's - or the difference is so marginal as to not be noticed.

The SS-25 is a mini body, this means the lower tube has been cut down shorter and the air runs through the banjo into the vert asa. The ss-25 is the only mini CCM ever made, the rest are all full bodies. Now, markers like the s6.5 and T2 are halfblocks. This means the top tube has been cut down about halfway. People commonly refer to the SS-25 as a "full body" when it is actually a mini body and full block.
