NoPro vs NoRise on a Works

Hi all,

Simple question, but I have a 3rd gen Works body I just bought that I need a new feedneck for and would like opinions on whether I should go NoPro or NoRise.

NoRise is the classic choice I guess, but NoPros seems to look good, at least on T2s. I'm not quite sure if it would be too low for a full body. Would love to hear your opinions/arguments or see some examples.

Pic attached, barrel and reg just for fun (it'll probably be fully CCM'd).

I go no pro's for semi guns with a force loader and no rise for pumps with gravity hoppers, dunno why, just like the looks.

With gravity loaders, the shorter the feedneck the more likely you are to get a misfeed - that's a result of a smaller ballstack.

I go with the no rise for all my pump guns. I like to be able to adjust my hopper up and down to get the back stack right to avoid jams. No pros are great for force feed applications like automags.

When I had the NoRise feedneck on that body I didn't like the way it felt with a force feed hopper being that high above the marker when you tilt the gun since it's heavier and the distance made it feel more uncomfortable to tilt than if the feedneck were lower to the body. But if you're keeping it a pump and using a Winchester or the like I'd get a NoRise feedneck, or a NoPro if you plan on using a force fed hopper on there.

thanks everyone - I'm going to go ahead and buy the NoRise since I likely won't be using a force feed hopper.

I prefer the NoPro even with pumps and gravity hoppers. I tried a NoRise and was getting feed problems with a Sportshot hopper and when I switched back to the NoPro it was fedd great again.

I prefer a NoPro with a sportshot - but never had an issue with a NoRise either.

I have run both - I don't think you will have any problem.
