CCM On/Off O-Ring size

First off I did a search and could find no results.

So I picked up my first SS-25 and I was delivered to me on Friday, I aired it up to make sure there was no leaks and I noticed the On/Off was rather "hard" to turn On/Off. So I unscrewed the knob all the way out and as it turns out there was a couple of gouges in the O-Ring so I replaced it with a R-02 O-Ring (which is the same size as the one that came off) and it seems the O-Ring is too "Fat" and making it hard screw and un-screw the knob for turning the Air On/Off. Does anyone know what size O-Ring to use for the "Older Style" On/Off? In the picture is the On/Off that I have.

Thanks in advance.

If I have to order a package of O-rings from McMaster Carr I will do so but I was just hoping to go to my local ACE Hardware and just pick up a couple of O-Rings and solving the issue that way.

Sorry that was a typo on my part, I should have said N90-008 for the old style shaft.

I went to my local PB Pro-Shop at lunch today and he happened to have an 008, he wasn't sure what the Durometer is so I'll find out when I get home if it works or not. If what I got today doesn't make the On/Off work correctly (easier to screw/unscrew) then I'll be contacting either short304 or Mel at CCM, only will contact Mel if I "need" (cough-cough) other things for this magnificent gun.

Thanks for all the help though

Could swing into Harbor Freight and buy the oring super pack. Works great for minor issues.
