I have a random Cabela's mag pouch (for pistol mags I think) that holds the mags incredibly well. The flap won't go over the mag, but it holds nonetheless. I'll snag a pic when I can.

Happy helped me fix my links:

I have a Full Clip double mag pouch that I picked up in a trade - roughly 4"x6" that fit the mags perfectly with the open/red portion pointed backwards to avoid any paint getting in. They are slightly loose, so using the top flap would be wise to avoid losing one.

Here's my SSR playing dress up...and waiting for stuff to arrive in the mail.

Initial load out:
VLTOR stock (Chinese knockoff, apparently) with pockets removed (FS rounds will fit, but now I need the right spring to help push them out), black Magpul shroud (Chinese knockoff too, apparently - darn you ebay!!!),

Update 1:

Magpul grip with storage underneath added:

Update 2:

Used Magpul (actual) shroud added to add some color. I also just got in the flat earth polymer rails, that I will add to the black shroud for dress up if I want to swap to regular paint/smooth bore barrel.

Now just waiting for enough time to go buy to get a flat earth stock (if this look grows old).

BTW Bill, I may have stripped the early threading on the receiver by using a bolt that was too thick but came with the first grip. The Magpul bolt was even thicker, so I just used the initial one.

Looks good! You all have been finding some interesting stocks. Did you put foam in the handguard?

Great looking rifles so far everyone, looking forward to seeing more of the SSR hoarde built and ready to blast people. I am working on getting in better shape so I can play this year and not feel embarrassed from needing a nap when I hit my first bunker.

Its funny you said that i had put tissues in my rifle stock to dull down that horrible hollow echo from the receiver extension tube every time i'd dry fire it.

If you have any issues with it just send the part to me and it will get fixed.
