That was just a mockup prototype to test fit the internals, it hasn't even been tapped for a barrel as you can see.

That being said Bill I petition for a slam changer on the CCM revolver should it ever go into production!

Yeah, I'm not sure how many of ya'll shot your 3357s a lot back in the day. I had half a dozen Crossman pellet revolvers and a 3357. I shot it a bunch and I switched internals between all of the different models. I was rarely able to get much above 250 FPS with the 50 caliber paint. If 50 cal is a 1/3 or a 1/4 the mass of a 68 cal rd then inertia maybe a problem. Boosting the main spring didn't do anything. That's all the air the valve had space for. With the cylinder gap loss and a short barrel this system may be a bit less efficient than say a Nelson valve. So I'd guess that 75% of a phantoms shot count might be a logical guess. A little boost from the first strikes but I think you will be closer to 25 shots than 30 at 280 fps. So changing the co2 is a must.

For the valve size, I don't see 50 being overly optimistic, but the SSR/SR1 knob has been my argument based on the same reasoning as yours. Not all 12ies are the same size, might as well make it a convenience since you're going to be milling anyway.
