We tumble for 1 hour or less on smaller parts. Since we polish we are not trying to get the high luster in tumbling . We are spending more time on machining to get finer finishes. It is less manual labor intensive . Let the machine do it.

This is really an alternative finish. I like it better than dust finish.

I haven't tried my brass tumbler for ano yet. I was looking into new media for small parts. I have extra tubs from trying moly coating, so I could dedicate one of those.

Seems like it would be easier than building a sand blasting booth if you don't want true dust finish.

The Tumbled finish is the greatest finish CCM has produced. Loved it when it was available years ago and still find it attractive today.

Am I correct in the observation that CCM's tumbled finish is a closer match to other manufacturers' dust finish?

I have some parts I am looking into having redone in the near future. I like the look of the semi-gloss. Who is good with doing this process?

I wish they would bring back Hard Anno as a choice. Love my HA S6.5.

We really don't offer to do custom finishes. We end up chasing our tail.

I would call your local ano shops or search on line.

When you deal with the finishing/ano shop directly you cut out the middle man and you get what you want in a finish.
