I have one. 45 thin grip. I've added a slot blocker, but it's otherwise stock from CCM. The black pieces are the hard ano black, with the rest clear. I wish they'd offer this option again.

T2 Hard

Here are a couple of up to date pictures of how she actually looks. I changed the grips and put a short handle on there quite a while back.

we never offered hard ano in the store because the ano parts didn't always match or it had spots or a wood grain finish on one side. I always liked it because you didn't know what was coming back. I really try to talk people out of buying it unless that have personally seen one. The ano is .001 thick. I believe it penetrates deeper into the aluminium. Its pretty scratch resistant. We never did a lot of markers like that but I never kept track. Less than 50 and that is a guess.

The added cost comes in the ano plus the cost of assembly. Every hole has to have the tap ran back thru it because the ano thickness adds .001 per side so you get sticky screws and things can go to crap pretty quick. The barrel threads and sizer threads can be a bear sometimes. You need to keep a little lube on the threads.

I absolutely love how it looks. When you catch it just right in the light the finish has a depth to it that isn't like anything else. Like oiled steel.
