I am hoping to do a from-scratch laminated stock that can accommodate the original K98 hardware. If an original K98 stock could be converted to this, that would be amazing too.

Can't wait to get those measurements and get started on the project!

This is amazing. I've been kicking around the idea of dropping an SSR body into a stock for a while, knowing full well it wouldn't look very good.

A drop-in body like this would be amazing. I have a beautiful Swedish Mauser stock just waiting for one of these. Or maybe a 91/30 if I can find a barrel long enough?

Please make these.

Any projection as to which number (between 1-9) in the hundreds this will run?

You want a Canadian test running this thing, an ambassador with the young magfed crowd, you let me know! I am your man! (as long as I can afford)

I like the look of that a lot more than the SR1. I may have to try and squirrel away some money and buy one when they come out.

I have always wanted a stocked rifle since about 2006.This is a rendering I had back then. Some of the parts were drawn up. It would have been an under barrel feed system. This was paintball only. That dream died quick. FS revived it in 2009.

I'm also tired of the AR look and was about to buy a SSR but didn't want to be a mil sim guy at the field. Nothing against those guys (I spent some time in the Army myself) but its just not my thing.

12g is the best way to go for this so there is no tank anywhere. I love 12g guns for the simple fact that I can always plink in the backyard without worrying about getting a bulk tank filled. I don't even own a tank now.

I'm glad to see the direction this is going. Keep it up and then get on to the dang pistols!

It took 11 years to get to this point. I hope the rest of my projects go faster. This will not be a drop in the stock rifle.

Anybody putting it in a different stock needs to start practicing their whittling skills.

I am expecting a couple months to get product out. We have to work out a system, cut jaws, buy material, tools, make programs. It's not a huge project because we are using some SSR parts but it will take sometime just because it's new. Cutting the stock was a pucker moment for 30 minutes. We were moving slow and small cuts because we don't have a way to hold stocks like the stock makers do.
