Brass and Wood Fan
MikeE's Collection

So, I started playing in around 1998 at a field called Commando One Paintball in Whangarata, south of Auckland in New Zealand. First gun I picked up was a Sheridan Equalizer, which I managed to kill the seals the first time I took it apart putting gun oil through it (typical newbie 13 year old mistake). Since then I've gone through a tonne of markers, took a break between 2005-2008ish when I purchased a house. Started working at parks again in 2011 when I joined Lock'n'Load Paintball in New Zealand, then started travelling in 2012. Ended up playing paintball in South East Asia when I was based in Bangkok for a couple of years and freelancing for my friends field in New Zealand - Asylum Paintball.

I met an American and we moved to San Diego, where I started working for Giant Sportz (SC Village, Hollywood Sports, Giant San Diego). After she graduated we relocated to just outside Washington DC. I'll start posting up my toys in this thread.

Sheridan PGP that's on its way from New Zealand that I purchased while drunkenly in the bathroom at a DC thinktank. Former rental marker from New Zealand's longest running park - World Challenge Tag. Been told everything's seized so I'll be working on this with Ty at Brass Monkey Customs.

Autococker pump that I threw together out of spare parts. Don't think this cost me more than $25. I was given a body which I traded for this one had had a phantom feed on it, reg is off a junked electo cocker with the dodgy screens, no idea where stickys came from and 12g adaptor from one of my many Craigslist bin finds

Shocker that I purchased recently off letgo, got it alongside this angel. Purchased off a guy whose father used to play, he inherited the gear and had no clue how to work on it. Also had a nova but the guy sold it before I could reach him.

PGP I picked up off Craigslist a few weeks ago, guy drove up from Fairfax, VA. Got a cooper t bolt, "raincover" where the non rainy bits fell to bits when I stripped, barrel extender, speed feed bit. Bottom is how it came, top is how I'll use it. RVA drilled and tapped thanks to help from Ty at Brass Monkey.

Smart Mag, picked this up from a guy in San Diego when he was clearing out all his paintball stuff. He also has a 2000ad angel in mint condition that I sent to a friend in New Zealand. Added one of Docs autococker barrel adaptors so I can shoot modern paint but also came with a dye stainless

Crossman .3557

CMI thunderpig "tusker". This came in a box of parts and junk air systems for $20. Didn't realize there was an almost full marker in there. Need screws, springs and a feedneck.
