Wow, that's really cool. That's some really interesting insight and history. If possible, feel free to pm me the picture or post it on here, I love seeing old paintball magazine snippets, even more so one that might be related to the Houndstooth. If you happen to come across the serial, like you mentioned, that'd be incredible.

It sounds like you had a nice pickup on the J2. I can't imagine anyone taking a Tippmann plus cash for their CCM now but no doubt it was different times; there's no arguing against the A5 though; they shoot and keep shooting through plenty of abuse.

This might be around 98/99.... I'm gauging on that the sight and barrel plug on it I got at IAO 98.
