Another double barrel project thread. With pics.

All off thé recent talk about double barrel projects made me want to take pictures of mine. It started out as a chopped down p-68sc and a brass project parts lot I picked up from Ghillie_55. thé feed necks are scrap barrel cutoffs opened up with an air grinder. They are brazed on instead of soldered. It's been a while since I brazed anything so it didn't come out as pretty as I'd hoped. thé barrels are 6 1/4" long. thé bottom tube was cut to match. it will have to be re threaded. A guy my Dad knows a guy with a home machine shop and he offered to do it; since a tap couldn't be found to match it. This is it so far mocked up with hockey tape to hold it together. I still have to modify thé existing hammer slot or cut a new one in thé other barrel. I also have to cut thé pump handle to accommodate thé drop out slot. 3/16" stainless rod will be used for thé pump arm. Once it is done I'll probably run a constant air setup on it with 50 or 100 round hoppers. But thé option for 12 grams is there. It is also side tapped.

A little rough, but an excellent starting point.

I can rethread the lower tube. If the tubes are not brazed together then you can have the machinist single point a 13/16-28 thread in the lower tube (I am pretty sure of the threads, but look around here or have the machinist measure the threads)

Looking good and good luck,

Ty

That's awesome! I'm glad you could get some use out of the parts. I'm not the brass mechanic I thought id be.

How does the pump action work to pump both balls out?

A pin between the bolts or a plate connecting the two togther. Only one has a hammer lug.
