Haven't messed with it in a few weeks. Need to make a new valve slide things. The new i did make is off in length. I'm making the new one adjustable this time. so i can mess with how far i can open it.

But even with the valve that would work correctly i chroned a reball at over 300 at about 150psi
this is the single barrel version. think the valve chamber is a tad over kill in size lol

Overkill in size is a good thing - means you can cram crap in there to suck up volume and bump efficiency.

They are a very efficient valve system - even more so if you can smooth out the air flow with some nice tapers.

Back from the dead

Well what i come to find is the valve assembly slide won't open with out help. no matter what i do i can't get it to open with out help. Only solution i found was adding a spring to push it open. Works great and and seams to be reliable.

only thing i see is in the build of the marker. No where near a easy build. doubt it would even be feasible. Think i'll make something smaller instead

This is the sort of application I was thinking about for my mousetrap valve on my pirate. You could make the dump chamber vertical (shorter spool horizontal), with a small spool to charge the dump chamber after the break-open pushes (pulls) the main spool sealed.

Still not a cheap build for a break open though.
