I have a body jewel that has lost its adhesive and I would like to know what kind of adhesive can I apply to the back of the jewel so that it will stick again?

I know from experience that superglue does not work. epoxy maybe. I was hoping someone on here would have some specialized knowledge of what type of adhesive the manufacturer would have used. possibly a 3M product?

Spray adhesives never last in the long run. Sunlight exposure will be enough heat to make it eventually fail. Try a strong contact adhesive in a can and apply by brush. One of the strongest contact adhesives out there is DAP's Wellwood Landau Top and Trim adhesive; but the smallest size it is available in is 1 gallon.
Maybe call around to local automotive detail shops or a kitchen cabinet and countertop companies and ask them for a little brush of their contact cements. They would have this stuff in drums; and would probably be cool with it if your a nice fella with a cool project they've never seen.

3M has a plastic and metal adhesive for things like automotive emblems. I use it on other stuff, but haven't tried it on jewels. It remains somewhat flexible and clear, but as usual, sticks to lots of stuff. I found it in the autoparts store for something I can no longer remember.

Their automotive weather strip adhesive (aka snot) should work too, but it's yellow and gets everywhere.

Use E-6000, available at Lowes, or any plumbing supply store. It stays flexible for yours, even in UV.

if you want to get serious use PL 9000 or PL premium. bond anything to anything until the end of time.

have used shoe goop glue with great success.
