I'm making a pump interest thread (UPDATED 09/02/18)

Latest update:

Made a rough prototype to test the action, I'm currently trying to hunt down the right springs to get this prototype firing. I'll probably end up having some made, sadly that option will take me into the end of March. In anycase I'm pretty much quitting my job to go full time on this, the TwistMags and car restoration so hopefully I'll be able to make somewhat of a living through these independent ventures.

Pricing will be around $300 to $400.

Some parts will be 3d printed depending on how cheap people want this to be. The ideal behind this is that it can be changed out to lever action, shotgun, double action, bolt action and single action with only changing the trigger frame. I want this to be a platform that is easy to mod. I'll put out the CAD designs so anyone with a 3D printer can make whatever they want.

The design will change to incorporate 12 grams in the grip, the grip will be a 3D printed AR 15 grip. This means if you want a stock with a 13cu bottle in it you can whack any AR15 grip (or keep the original) and run a line directly from the valve.

Hopefully this will be done and dusted and ready for ordering in June/July time.

Also I decided to call this gat the "Single Action Hero".

Here are some pics, the design might change but i like the way it looks now. Also my 3D printer isn't the best so don't think the finished product will look as bad as this prototype :/

9/09/17

Quick update, waiting on the hammer and bolt to get made up. Should be ready in the next 2/3 weeks so that's when the first proper test firing will be. This is the basic model of the gun for testing. I'm trying to make it as modular as possible so to change from a shotgun to a single action pistol will only require changing the grip frame. The body, valve, internals and feeding system will remain the same. Let me know what you guys think so far!

Update

First prototype of the valve has been made and is being tested. As before the design has changed. This time the bolt is now blow forward and I dependant so only the hammer has to be reserve between shots. This allows for single action pistol, lever action, volt action, pump action and maybe even a double action so it will be semi. So far I'm finishing the designs for all these mods. The plan is to have the body, valve and tube magazine interchangeable between all these configurations. Hopefully the designs will be complete midway next year and ready for sale in batches of 100.

UPDATE:

Wow over 3 years in the making and I am glad to see people are still showing an interest in this project!
As you can see from previous posts the design keeps changing, however I believe this shall be its final form!
I'm trying to keep it simple and also as versitile as possible, switch from mag fed to hopper fed, different pump types etc. My goal is to have these changes available without buying any additional parts, e.g. new trigger frame.
Anyway here are some pictures below, it still needs a lot of touching up but the basic shape is there.
Note: I haven't gotten round to designing the ASA yet, also the plan is to have a regulator in the grip when using bottle.
Thanks for the interest!

OP:

Im designing a pump which will be available for purchase soon!
This is just a general interest thread to see if people are willing to purchase.
Its still being touched up at the minute but here are some specifications,
No macro line
Auto trigger switch (turn AT on/off)
SC variants with co2 in grip
Regulator can be installed in grip
.45 grips
AC thread barrels

The marker uses a poppet valve that is actuated by a hammer (like a real gun).
A prototype will be made soon with more details being released then
So let me know what you think
Cheers

New TPX Mag Mod !
*Grips are slightly updated, valve assembly is slightly longer as well (will update other pics soon!)

So this is the tpx mag mod that will come as a kit consisting of four parts:
Mag fed body
Longer bolt
2 x longer pump rods

As far as pricing goes i have no idea yet, depends on how much the body will cost to make so as a ball park figure im going to say between $150 and $200.

so it has a moving hammer like a real 45? That's pretty sweet. Any chance you would consider a 90 or 86 degree frame?

So the top rods move the u shaped hammer pusher. I'm guessing the little rod in the middle moves the bolt to chamber a ball? Neat concept.

I absolutely love the hammer hitting the ram design. I'm interested for that reason so far. From your design there, that looks pretty freakin compact. Write me down as interested.

i'll make a few frame designs and see which one is most popular
you're right about the sled, the bolt however will be either directly connected to the pump rods or it will use magnets instead. (havent got to it yet)

Cheers for all the love so far everyone!
