I'm willing to bet that the loader can do that. Would make for a good project.

Yes. There are 5 parts, each having 2 mold halves. Each half takes 6 hours to cure and 30-60 minutes to prep before it can even be poured. On a good day, I can do 2 pours, on a working day, one at night if I'm lucky. The lid is done. I just poured the second half for one shell, and the first half of the crank. In 6 hours I will be able to pour the second half of the crank and maybe get the other shell started. The shells take at least an hour to set up before I can pour for the mold. With any luck, the molds will be done this weekend.

So your making molds now to hopefully mass produced the parts?
Or is each hopper going to require that much work?

I wouldn't call it mass production, but this is just the work for the molds. The molds should last for at least 20 parts, but I have read that with the right care, they can last for 100. The resin that the parts are made from cures in about 90 minutes.

Had some car work that needed to be done, so I didn't get as much done as I wanted.

Current count is 3 molds are done and the second shellf half is half way done. There weren't enough spare Lego pieces to do the first half of the final mold, so that will get started tomorrow, done by Tuesday. Then I can hopefully start making parts.
