Hey guys, I working on a project gun and need a little help. I would like to retread a ion breech from ion to a5 threads, if it is possible as I've seen cocker threaded ions. Also get the actual feed port milled out for first strikes as it is a magfed project. If anyone is willing to do the work send me message along with a quote and we can discuss it.

Also there is not enough meat left in the breach for A5 threads. The OD of an a5 barrels threads are smaller than the ion's threads.

You could machine away the existing threads and create an insert... That would be time consuming, therefore expensive.
Why not look around for an Autococker threaded Ion breech? I believe that someone made them.

ANS has the ion to cocker barrel adapters for $17. Don't think you'd be able to beat that.
Otherwise if you're dead set on A-5 threads here's that adapter, still $17
