Still not sure on opensourcing it / releasing the files. I wouldn't want anyone to try and shoot a badly printed gun. What do you guys think about it?

That depends, are any of the 3d printed parts holding pressure when the gun isn't firing? (pressurized, but at rest) Or is all held pressure contained by drop in parts? (Sterling valve, fittings, hose?).

If the body isn't exposed to pressure except during a firing cycle (in which the gas is released in the body but not held, its either exhausted or sent down the barrel), then I would do some test firing and minor stress testing. This is "Pressure in transition", you can dump a very high PSI into plain PVC pipe if there's no cap on the end!
