you know you can subscribe to a thread without posting right? (It's under thread tools at the top) :-)

Thanks for the Etha btw. Loving the quality of it. Really well built.

I realized one issue. The ASA on the reg is female rather than male as I expected (d'oh). Gotta figure out where I can make a connection for that.

You could use an Empire Relay or something along those lines and feed it (including the solenoid valve) through a custom manifold.

Yes, I could do that. More expense unless I trade the sl3 reg. Tempting to build a custom manifold though.

I had a lead on an used Mini reg for $30 once, the guy went to go post it on eBay for me after his original listing ended and we came to a BIN price, and someone sniped it from me literally after he uploaded it. In hindsight, we should have just done a PayPal transaction, but neither one of us thought about that at the time. I was gonna grab it for $30, so they do come up cheap every now and then. As for mags, I'd probably go TPX mag just due to size, the Dmag looks way to big on that thing. I was working on converting a PM8 to mech, sadly had to sell it for some extra cash, but I did make a delrin manifold before hand for it. Cut a piece of delrin to size, drilled and tapped my holes for some short WGP barbs, and was using a Mac43 noid to actuate it. All in all, I think I was less than $20 into making it, made $30 tops, just needed to make a copy of the UL so that I didn't cut up one, which is where the project stopped cause I didn't have the money at the time for silicone to make a mold. With the generic shape of the PE grip, should be much easier to choose placement if you plan to go that route.

I have my own custom(ish) idea for 10 round mags, that work out extremely cheap, and blow the competition out of the water for value. (As in... $5 for a first strike capable 10 rounds magazine that is reliable. Well at least for me.)

As said, I am not really sure I want to go the round round route with the Etha though. I played with an SMG the last time I played, and I found the 7 round magazines a total pain in the butt, and likely to get you killed in CQB situations. I am thinking the same might apply to 10 rounds. (maybe). It would solve some design and build issues using 10 rounds, but I'm looking at it functionally... not sure I want to go that route.

This is basic idea of what I am thinking is this for a 20 round fitment:

Or course, looking at that side profile it looks a little risky, but I don't really see another way unless I flip it over. That would bring in a whole lot of other issues.

Concerned at the offset breach for the original feed. Darn anti bounce hopper ideas lol.
