Looks nice also a good choice use hopper feed to Keep the Paint as round as possible !!!

Here i got some pics of a guy he build a straight ASA into the Hammer housing and dremelīd(milled) the channel for the gas line.

An other guy printed this ASA.

This guy milled the stock magīs, so now we know that max. 9 FS Rounds would fit in if ... !!!

Unfortunate that he wasn't able to start with one of the newer shells with the gas line cutouts already included in the casting.
As for feeding first strikes, wouldn't a TPX magazine adapter be more sensible?
That seems to be the route Engler is taking.

Yes youīre right, but he showed D.I.Y. is possible also to older ones but itīs alot of work and not for Noobs(you could hurt the stability of the Frame Shells if ...)

Sorry i donīt understand right, what do you excatly mean with more sensible ???

Shure a 7Round spring is pressing less than longer ones for example. A modded 9 Round TMC Mag would be just winded up to ca. half so also less pressure. Best choice if you want to shoot much FS Rounds modify some T15 Mags to fit in TMC.

He took the way of not modify the mags !!!

Less time/money invested for a similar result.
I'm curious- does enlarging the forward channel of the magazine impede its ability to feed round paintballs? If it's still fully functional after being carved out we could have a real winner here, depending on how long it takes to remove the material.

OK, thanks for explaining me !

Why it should not work with regular paint cause of ... ???
Think 2D, a square and a circle in same Diameter where do they have contact to each other ???

Milling that strange radius(straight and curved) should be an easy and quick Job for a CNC-Mill(Super low stress for the mill bit too cause of soft plastic) so it depends on how much building of them and Motivation of the guy who writes a program for the mashine and making the Mount for the mag Shells !?!?!?

I like Closed mags, if that door like DAM mags got would be possible to install in a TMC mag i would try !!! (gives you max. less huminity stress for the paint in the mags)

Here i installed an old ASA to test the handling with tank stock 2.0 . Feels well and got a bit more of room for mask Frame.

Here i made a draw of the ASA 2.0 which i donīt gonna build cause i got an old Version and my straight ASA isnīt bad too !!!

There is a Need to cut the lower Piece of the hammer housing. Also to get a stronger 2.0 ASA a cut at the bottom of the hammer housing is needed so itīs getting stronger against bad Forces, but this doesnīt weak your Bolt area and itīs not much and deep too.
