Why not....Punisher's Customs?

It's only been 13 years since my last communications with Lee Kinney from the formerly known Punisher's Customs. Has he resurfaced with people's stuff yet lol?

I don't have any hope that I'll receive my $300 marker or $500 for custom work back, but just thought of it out of the blue.

Pretty sure that Punisher (Lee Kinney) and Punishers Customs are two separate entities.
I dealt with Lee on several occasions, got my hands on and still have the only Sheridan KP-2 that he ever did, then I paid for two Crowdbusters but never received them, so I'm out $1,800.
I even offered him more money to get them finished but he blew it off.

And to think I used to stick up for him online when people complained about long waits. The man should die of genital necrosis.

I stuck up for him too. I was having one of his Signature Series Phantoms made.

-Might be the case today, as I think there is, in fact, a "Punisher's Paintball" or similar company, wholly unrelated to Kinney, out there.

But back in the day, the two you mention were one and the same. Lee was "Punisher", of "Punisher's Customs".

And yeah, I have to agree. Dude's gone. I liked him, back in the day, and had considerable respect for his creativity and skill. I'll even admit more than a little jealousy at times.

But like a lot of us garage-shop types that kind of got drawn in to the airsmithing game maybe a little unintentionally, he was a much better airsmith than businessman. I nearly fell down that same Siberian tiger trap that nabbed him, several times myself over the years, and while I can't condone his methods (that is, leaving so many people hanging) I can kind of understand his reasonings.

And every time a thread like this pops up, I basically just go "geeze, guys, the dude's gone. Stop digging up the corpse and putting it on trial all over again. "

Doc.

Last I knew he was working on custom parts for Dodge Neons. Atleast that was the case when a friend tracked him down several years ago. And actually got his gun back. Although the brandnew at the time he sent it to punisher for work wasnt worth anything due to the amount of time that passed when he finally got it back even if it was still in the same untouched new condition.

I decided to amortize my disappointment at $100 per year and start thinking of it as a failed kickstarter campaign.

At peace.
