A1 barrel adapter

I know there are the traditional style adapters available in a1 threads. Screw barrel A into the adapter, screw the adapter into marker B. I haven't been able to find the A1 thread specs to see if its even possible, but I was thinking since the shank is so short, maybe a sleeve adapter could be made. Like the collars that convert from OG angel to cocker threads.

A1 specs (and comparative specs for other barrels) can be found here:

I looked through that the other day. I could have sworn the A1 specs weren't there yet.

Checking through the specs, the shaft on the a1 is only .01" larger than the og angel shaft, so that leaves .005" wall thickness for a sleeve. Safe to say that idea is a bust. The only threads that look like they'd work would be traccer or phantom, which are even less common than a1 threads. Although looking at that it looks like any cocker barrel could be cut to fit within the shank.

sell the barrel and buy an a1 barrel or even an a1 FLY barrel kit. 2 piece carbon fiber ftw. then send out one of the backs or the one piece a1 barrel to be honed out to accept freak inserts...
(would be worth it in the end possibly)

I'm not planning to have a barrel rethreaded, that was more of an observation. However the idea for an adapter is more to put barrels on an a1 that aren't available for it or aren't being used. That's not doable though.
