oled board on fusion fx

Fusion fx

I left the battery in over the winter and must have had it turned on sometime long enough to burn out the board. Unless there are other suggestions. It turns on, but nothing shows up on the oled screen. If I mess around with the buttons I can get it to fire but I'm blindly going through the menus until I get lucky. From all the reading I have done, it seems I need a new board to fix this.

My problem is...DP has them on back order and could not give me ETA on when they may/may not come in. Does anyone know where I may purchase a new board from besides DP or somehow make the old board magically work?

I already made the dumb mistake of buying the upgraded APE board for the Fusion (hint: it doesnt go in the fx and is in a box ready to go home).

Thank you all for any advice.

Some tricks with dim OLED boards, try to read them in a bathroom with the lights out. If you can't, you can use a photographers trick with a digital camera that has manual exposure and a live view screen. Go into a bathroom or dark room, turn on the camera and the gun. Look at the back of the gun and slow down the exposure until you can see it. The last trick has helped me save a couple of tadao boards from being stuck on only the current settings. These are by no means fixes, but can help you get into or out of a firing mode like psp or semi.

Nope, no tricks to bring that screen back unfortunately.

Send me a PM and I'll send you over a bunch of info and some options for you.

DP REVi OLED Screen

I too am having problems with my DP REVi OLED screen. Went to turn it on over the weekend and it was just black and white pixels, no legible words.

Any ideas on fixing it or where I can get a replacement?

Thanks.

Check the board for any markings that say APE. If it is an older Rev-i, APE Electronics made the boards for them. If it is an APE board, you can try and contact them to see if they can help you out.
