Assume we're talking about a paintball and not some arbitrary .68 caliber projectile/sabot? It may destroy a paintball anyway. I guess you'd have to block the regulator, pressurize the back block up to just below the fixed relief valve setting with some sort of external air source, and then fire it to find out.

The SA-8 can shoot above 450fps. The shots were too fast to register on my radarchron. The overpressure relief never peeped.

I've had no trouble getting it down to ~250fps though.
