I would be willing to bet the lost sales to Tiberus was minimal . The people
that bought the Pepperball SA8 would not have bought the Tiberus @ $200.
Did this prompt the serious buyers who were considering buying a T8? Yes.
I do believe this will be a positive thing for the T8. More people will see them and use them which may prompt even more sales. Hopefully for Tiberus.

It looks like it at least. I posted pictures earlier here.

Look at how long the spring is and how the front bolt has the edges smoothed down in the front.

it is the adapter that you use to screw in the co2 ... without a co2 in you can screw it all the way in...
The magazines that come with these guns seem to be quick screw ones.

Maybe this is why I only got two mags out of one CO2 cartridge. I'll try again tomorrow, gun is back together .

well id have to sort of agree...

put me in the ... was gonna buy a $250 players packaged 8.1...
was hard for me to buy this one... was determined for the 8.1 but $250 was tough to chew on for a secondary marker.....

however for $100 there will be one sitting in my new specops vest i will be ordering this week!!!!!!!!

I have my suspicions as to why....and may explain why Pepperball is selling these SA8's at clearance price. Tiberius may be unhappy about losing a contract. If you look at the rest of Pepperball's product line, they are all Tippmann markers. Obviously, a well established market partnership, that could be further expanded upon. Now with the advent of the Tippmann TPX, which occupies the same magazine-fed, personal carry size niche' as the Tac 8/SA8, they may very well be adopting it into the Pepperball lineup once they've unloaded the last of their tiberius models. Don't forget, Pepperball once sold the Zeus type pistols as the personal-sized mag fed option. Then blew them out at cheap prices. Not unheard of to change models entirely.

Just a hunch.

I can assure you guys Pepperball losing some money selling at that price.

I seen the price shop buy them for and a T8 is higher than the T8.1 .

Why would Tiberius be upset? If pepperball bought them all it was still a sale for a Tiberius no matter what the clearance price is at.
