You mean the clips that can be resale at market price?

i've put about 60 rounds through mine so far. no breaks, even at rapid fire at original high velocity.

As I posted in the other thread, this may be a prelude to an industry-wide blanket statement that "SA-8s aren't safe for paintball, don't allow them at your field". Hopefully if that is the case Tiberius will make that public information ASAP to help people decide about turning the gun in for the coupon or not.

I also requested that in lieu of that offer, they offer an "upgrade" kit or service for a nominal fee, consisting of a new reg spring and either new relief valve guts or a T8 back block. Speaking for myself, I'd pay $30 to have a legit, anodized T8 backblock with the "safe" internals. Still gets me a T8 for <150 and I know there are no issues.

PS: A big "thanks alot and I told you so" to everyone who douched this up by calling Tiberius for tech support on their free gun.

There's a person on my local forum that contacted Eric directly, probably linking to the massive MCB thread, once he saw these for sale.

Even if a blanket statement went out, the cheaper one will just either spray paint their SA-8 Black or have it anodized for a few bucks.

Between all the guns that are out there, very few fields would be able to tell the different or be vigilant about enforcing the "unsafe" Tac-8 clone on the field.
