buyers remorse- a picture thread
have you ever had a marker that you regret you bought? has it caused nothing but trouble? cant sell it for a dime?
post up a picture and mini description/story of this dreaded marker!
mine happens to be a palmers rf blazer i bought brand new. it has caused but trouble. the timing adjustments werent loctited from factory and the reg had problems from the very start. the "aluminium" clamping elbow was terrible. it was powder coated instead of annodized and half of was made from brass/copper and the aluminium was of the cheap variety and it cost 60 dollars. the calm that when on the elbow had almost no clamping space so it could barely hold my invert too. had my hopper fall of many times during games. it also broke paint alot... it is currently being teched by palmers.

I see dead people
Mine would be a Dragon cocker. One of those crossbreed Spyder/ Cocker things. I picked it up on the cheap with a plan for it but once I got it, I realized how craptastic it was and stripped it for parts I needed then grabage-can modded it.

I bought a silver psycoballistics cocker from a guy about a year ago. I had always wanted to own a silver autococker but this one reminded me why people made up the cocker haiku.
Ok, so I bought it from a guy that said that he had went through it and lubed everything, he might have, but then again he might have just cleaned all the lube all out of everything.
I gas the marker up and it blasts HPA out the 3 way enough that it blew some random crap off of my work bench, I turn down the LPR and adjust the 3 way to approximately where it should be, and gas it up again. This time the three way only leaks a bit and I feel confident enough to pull the trigger...
The stupid thing starts leaking like crazy from the 3 way and locks the trigger back. I go to flip the gun on to its side to get a look at whats happening and while doing so grab the macro fitting going into the reg. Precisely when that fitting decides to let go. So my hand catches the tip of the macro smacking into my hand with about 850 PSI behind it. Not that bad, I know, but a mechanic had just told me the day before about how high pressure air can kill you. (I don't really care about that too much now, but again, I did then) So, after swearing a whole bunch I unscrew the air tank and list the stupid little bugger for sale and end up trading it for a spyder. WGP and legit private label cockers for me for now on.
"Hey, you know how people drive cross-country in their Corollas? And then need to get their oil changed, after a straight 1200 mile drive? Yes? Now take a good look at your blueprints. See that 'cage' in front of the oil filter?
Yeah, that's the exhaust manifold.
Go die. " - Deus Machina
