mayvik, in the event of a problem, everyone who was in contact with the product is liable. the only parties which would have to pay would be those found negligent. so yea, if there was a serious design flaw and the engineer says it's cool, then yes. even if no one is negligent, the insurance company still has to pay for legal fees... they pay out a lot more than you think.

and yea, I'm not expecting it to be cheap, even if we get a good deal. I expect nothing to be cheap, ever... so I am never disappointed, and once in a while I even feel fortunate or lucky
