rain covers: how many use them?
I recently bought an old TASO rain cover and installed it on a LAPCO bigshot with taped porting. I haven't gone back to my J&J Edge kit yet! This one simple accessory mutes my marker as much as $1200 of electronic low-pressure engineering. I absolutely love playing with it, and my friends live in fear of it. Anyone else use them regularly?

I have one that fits on my SL-68 II but I hardly ever use it. It's so large that it makes the marker unwieldly.

not me. I am lookening for a decent barrel for my loudener. I am too big and loud for stealth.

I usually have the same problem as Phantompower.

I have trouble sighting becuase its typically in the way...i do like how silent they are.

Well, it only took me about half a day of playing to get used to the new sight picture. It's not incredibly cumbersome in the woods, and it's pretty lightweight because of the plastic construction. There were one or two times during the day that I took it off to make a shot through a barrel, though. I think I'm going to try it out on my cocker at a speedball practice, just to see what people think.

I don’t use them. I am not worried about the report. I don’t waste my shots so am not worried about making a little noise. And sometimes it can be to your advantage. :D

I've never felt like putting up with the size of them. Barrel porting works just fine for me.

I tend to not play in the rain that much.

I use them on occasion. I guess it all depends on the situation.

I live in fear of jackbooted thugs taking away my toys.

I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole.

Besides, when I special order my barrels I always get 12 inch unported barrels anyway.
