Right now is the perfect time of year for paintball, not to hot, not to cold. Perfect. By the way playing tomorrow. Hell yeah.

Which I cannot attend since I'm traveling to Denver that week and probably can't swing another day off. This means, that due to work and every other damn thing, I will miss the last open day this year and get to watch the paintball world disappear in a layer of white hate.

Usually paintball depression for me doesn't set in until about December or January when I really start feeling the itch... Between our local field growing up and having some seriously fun open days, my new CCM addiction, and so on, this winter is the close of the best paintball season in a few years.

Paintball depression sucks.
What part of the state are you in?....It has only frosted where I am so far, which is better than the rain back in NY

"I'm not an atheist, and I don't think I can call my self a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That , it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws. Our limited minds grasp the mysterious force that moves the constellations. Albert Einstein

Find a project gun or two to occupy your time with in the colder months.

What is the name of your field in ND and which city is it located near?

We'll be in SD that weekend and a few guys were thinking of venturing N but I told them they were nutz

I've played twice in the last 12 months and don't really foresee playing again until my birthday in Feb, if I can even play then. It sucks so try and find something to occupy your time. Project gun, another hobby, etc.

Hate to quote the 1337 speak () but I have to QFT this. Winter is about the time that the 3.5oz comes out in place of 12 grams for me, and I'm in Idaho so we get pretty cold here. Our field ran a big game in January or February, and we were dodging ice patches like crazy (Or using them to our advantage, bunker slides, anyone?)

Just dress a little warmer, throw on some FogDoc, and play some freaking paintball
Fast is fine, accuracy is final.

this past january I played a day where when I showed up in the morning the temp was 8* F. highs were maybe 20.

Only problem during that day was overheating and the fact that we were playing in 5 feet of snow

This past winter I went out in snow that was between knee to waist deep. It was fun, tiring but fun.
