"Most nelsons are inline and most sheridans are stacked"

I guess thats sorta true if you call the ICD valve guns an inline sheridan, and the sterling valve guns a stacked nelson. Semantics though.

The most popular inline valve design is the Crosman though, from which Brass Eagle (Stingray, etc) is a direct copy, and Tippmann is an indirect copy.

The great attribute to the Nelson is the ultra-compact design, but it also makes it very difficult to product semi versions since the force from a pneumatic ram will open the poppet during the rearward stroke.

Well I was looking at the most popular inline valve systems still in use realistically. Granted Tippman is huge but in the pump world it's nelson or sheridan pretty much 99.9% of the time. That's what I was getting at. I was alsp referring to in the pump world I guess I should have clarified that.
