The individual review scale needs to be readjusted to a binary level. Anything more complicated … is too complicated for paintballers.

One single criteria, and one single criteria only, to which you can hold the reviewer’s feet to the fire:

After having spent some quality time with one, do you own and regularly play with one? If so, 1. If not, 0.

It can’t be “would you buy this gun” because if you would, then you would already have done so.

It can’t be “I own one as a backup marker or wall hanger”, for obvious reasons.

It can’t be “would you recommend this gun” because paintballers recommend a lot of dumb things to each other, so this is not a good criteria for review.

Take all the 1’s and 0’s and average them out, 1-bit DAC style. That’s how you will get a rating.

A stock 98c would fit a 5 (on a scale of 10) quite nicely.

Note that a 5 in the real world is a failing effort.
He posts videos of himself on Youtube never leaving the furthest back bunker.
Even when playing against rental noobs, he is immobilized.
Logic and reason are anathema to him; but this does not deter him from prattling on.
He is the most interesting player in the world.
