Custom Dueling Paintball Pistols

Hey MCB so I have this wild dream to construct a set of dueling pistols like you would see in the times of the American Revolution. I specifically desire something that is one shot and cock, obviously a pistol platform and an effective description of why I should look at that platform.

I depict a rosewood box with an inner velvet cushioning, 2 cloned pistols of the exact same make and model, CO2 catridges, paintballs (probably tubes).

I've seen one video on a REALLY nice set and I hope to make something similar BUT I do not like the pistol he chose.

The markers I have looked at are:
3357 spotmarker
K/T splatmaster

de-evolve a PGP back to the PG. Add appropriate amount of brass, copper and wood accessories.

I never advanced this thing. It requires a "fill-station", but as a set, that wouldn't be a problem. 12g's are more practical though.

It started as a dueling pistol. I was not able to get a second matching barrel from PTP after the first one fell out of the mailer on its way to me. Then I attended a scenario that was western style with a background of TPX duels. Quick draw seems to be a more practical format (maybe). From that, I've been tinkering with a quick draw JTER2, which draws well and is very light.

I'm really not practiced at duels or quick draw, but the concept lets you change your needs for efficiency, velocity, and accuracy. It's a fun concept, but I struggle with the practicality of it all. Not that paintball is all that practical in the first place. If nothing else, the modded JT is a more capable replacement for a goblin, outside of concealment.

Here's how I'd approach it:

Buy a flintlock pistol kit

Gut the barrel out for a paintball bore.

Install a very very simple valve at the back (I was thinking a goblin shell might work, given you'd be adding some barrel for it to accelerate the ball with)

Make it so that the hammer has an extra lever inside the action which opens up the valve when it drops. The frizzen doesn't need to do anything towards shooting the ball, but it should be there, and for sure I'd add some powder in the pan for theatrics during an actual 'duel'

Ultimately anything short of a single-shot muzzle loaded flintlock-style (Precussion cap is acceptable but definitely not as OG as flint) pistol that must be primed, and loaded, packed, and cocked, for each shot, is just not going to cut it as a classic dueling pistol.

To load it with air, I'd make it so that you charge it with air down the muzzle to simulate how one would pour powder, I'd suggest having a ramrod that doubles as air-transfer-tube.

YOU WERE THE GUY I SAW! HEY BRO! Lol but seriously sexy pistols but I'm not a huge fan of the design.

Also to everyone that commented thank you for all the help! Very awesome ideas! If I go through it I'll post pictures for all you lovely people!

I was thinking Goblin core as well to give you the one shot reload feel to it.

Goblin shells are unreliable in my experience.
