Add a First Person View Of Your Marker...

I don't know if anyone else feels like this is important when they buy a paintball marker they never used before, but I always like to try and find a FP View of the marker to help answer questions like;

How will it aim? Can I use the barrel to sight? Can I switch sides?

If I'm the only weird one then sorry for this but if any one is wondering the same here are the views of the markers I own ATM.
Will show the right and then left side in that order

CCI Phantom with Lapco barrel and rain Man U/C Kit

PPS Pyre

Metadyne Thumper Stock class Configuration with 9" Lapco Bigshot

Dukie DSP Gen 1

If you found this helpful I'm glad and if you can share your shots to that would be cool, I'm looking for a pump mag so wouldn't mind seeing that I'm sure a lot of you got one lol

Thanks,
Andrew

You've just touched on what I feel is the biggest problem with many of the magfed guns right now. You can't aim them. All the tactical rials and fancy shrouds and you're left guessing where your shot is going to go. Without a good line of sight on the front barrel and/or getting your eye in line with the barrel when shooting it (because of the air-in-stock stuff), you can't reliably hit much. So most move to using scopes/sights, which are only really effective when using FSR.

But this post right here is what motivated me to start making my own guns. I just can't aim most magfed paintball guns, like they are freaking paintball guns. Instead I'm forced to mimicking real gun aiming, which is based off totally different ballistics. So unless I'm using a scoped FSR, I can't hit jack. And I've been used to playing with a well tuned autococker that can 1 ball all day. So this whole magfed, "where the hell is my shot going to go?!" thing just left me frustrated.

But yea, seeing the FP view should be a standard view all manufacture's websites/online retailers show so you can see what it is you'll see.

I didn't think about magfeed markers, if you have a magfeed then add the photo showing the view down the sights as you suggested cause that's how they are made to aim.

I agree, the first person view really matters. On a lot of modern-ish electros, the shape of the body can really screw with me. For example, the Luxe's swoop down towards the back. I tend to point a bit high because of it.

First Person View Of Your Marker...

This is why I like markers to have relatively smooth sides cause they are easier to point, CCI phantom are round bodies which is my favorite because it's an easy marker to point, that's why I'm looking into a mag now cause it also has a round body.
