Happens from time to time (especially after say a bad experience). I wouldn’t recommend selling all your gear because it only takes one little spark of interest to get you back at it (co-worker or close non-paintball related friend maybe?).

I keep my interest peaked by buying new guns, I thought that’s what everyone on MCB did???

I recently started a job where there are no fields nearby. I ran over to my old local field ( now 2.5 hours away ) and got to play and it was great.

I rarely get to play but I still have 7 markers hanging around.

I'd recommend keeping some gear handy. I'm glad i did.

Wait for a while. I have ebbs from time to time, the longest lasted 4-ish years. I never sell anything, and everyone I know who does regrets it. New fields pop up, times change. You'll be glad you kept it.

keep something. I haven't played since 2013 or 14 maybe. Still have 1 marker and 1 mask. Haven't seen it in a year + tho.

moving around the country and kids stopped my paintball weekends.

I'm still waiting to get "burned out" on paintball. It's been nearly 14 years since I played my first game and it hasn't happened yet.

Every time I go through this, I end up selling off gear thinking I am done and won't be back. I have gotten rid of some really nice items and things I wish I still had, even as wall hangers. Invariably something will trigger me and I come back, having to buy all the stuff I already had over again.

Funny enough, quite a few of my friends haven't played in the better part of 15 years and still have tubs of gear sitting around. At least two of them I am completely waiting to cherry pick some stuff I know they have.....

I played back n the early to mid ninety's..loved it and played with rentals every weekend. Then life happened..wife kids house career....Fast fwd 2 decades. Played for my binlaws bach party and got hooked back big..woods and then speed. I now have a marker for every segment of play and I love them all ...now doing rebuilds. Point is...if it was there.. the love..it will always be. It's a relationship like any other...sometimes ya just need some space to realize how much ya really love each other!

I'm definitely in an apathetic state right now about paintball. Ive taken up other interests that fill that time and energy.
