Have we beaten this horse to death, yet, with a foam frying pan?

we thought so then someone pulled out the giant purple "tac-cock"

TL;DR hole size controls how fast balls get spent

I'am old, and maybe it's just me, but if it does not shoot paint then how are you eliminated from play? The whole barrel tag or mercy kill works, because it's a loaded marker or bluff lol pointed at you. If the player says no you fire, they are eliminated.

The whole no physical contact thing comes into play and could bring up issues. But the video of buddy throwing a plastic axe is pretty brutal.

I remember watching some B movie about the Battle of Shiloh when I was a kid and being real proud of myself for noticing the obviously rubber bayonets flopping around as soldiers rushed into battle

I don't understand it either, but if that is what floats your boat... BUT, and it is a big BUT, everyone has to be on board. Frankly, it frightens me. I have barrel tagged people, tapped them on the shoulder and asked if they would prefer me not to shoot them, and just last weekend asked a guy if he wanted me to shoot him 1, 2 or 3 times, or of he would rather raise his hands and walk away slowly... But swing a foam frying pan? Maybe, IF everyone had one AND it was bright pink.

Here's the backstory : I'm at the ill fated Assault the Asylum game last weekend at PRZ in the Great White Frozen f*n North. At one point I see a guy in a weird red facemask wielding two foam swords. Ok I think, whatever...

I'm walking off the field having been royally stitched up by one of my own guys and inbound is a guy waving what looked like a very real and very dangerous hatchet. Not ok I thought...

This was a game where we played room to room, shooting point blank at multiple targets, adrenaline pumping red-out paintball. Heavy breathing murderball. Average range of my shots was 8 feet or less.

If some guy had run into my room and swung a hatchet at me I would have tried to block and butt-stroke back. Reflex. A bright pink hatchet? Not so much with the autonomic response.

I don't care how you play the game, as long as I know what you are allowed to do to eliminate me, and, I know that you are not really swinging a cast iron frying pan at me...
