Which picture best shows off my marker?

I want to enter my marker into a ...of the month contest, but can't pick between pictures.

The images aren't showing up... If you follow the URL to Imgur, you can view them.

The one on the chair is better, in my opinion. The other has too much shadow and "feels" out of balance.

My personal feeling is, with a marker this beautiful, you don't need fancy angles.
Still, I'd like to hear from the masses or at least the first five of you that vote.

My laptop didn't like the IMGUR links. I did it from my phone and it popped right up. Thanks.

Yeah, I agree the shadows aren't super pleasing. I wish I had that picture, miinus shadow. I love the straight on look.

I say pic 1, the colors in the background make the silver and black pop.

as an artist the pic with color contrast will always be more pleasing to the eye.
you could even "sharpen" the contrast more through highlight and shadows...
