The Americocker - A day by day build thread.

Hi folks!

So awhile back on a whim I bought an American flag-themed anno cocker body from Blizzard. At the time I had some disposable income and I have a tendency to be impulsive, so I bought a ton of parts so I could build yet another pump cocker.

Then I bought a house. Dang?

As one would imagine the house tends to nibble away at all spare bits of time & money, so the project took a backseat. I have now recovered financially & time-wise enough that I can start to assemble this patriotic little bastard.

To keep me on track and for the fun of it I am going to post pictures as I get the gun set up, one section at a time.

The first section will be boring, internals!

Pics & etc to come!

J

Here we go!

Sorry for the massive pictures, Imgur wasn't cooperating and I wanted to make sure everyone could get to bed tonight.

I'm excited for the finished product, but the blues on the detent and the cocking rod are wayyy darker than I remembered... may end up replacing them, but we'll see.

Next step, pump kit! See ya soon

Nice. Subbed!

I own a couple of Cockers, but am just getting ready to start my first build in the coming weeks, as I continue to source the various parts that I want. Looking forward to a complete build thread, considering the more-than-appropriate timing!

I just don't know how I'm going to cope if I don't get those pics.
