Holding air and dry firing... ready for Sunday.

I will fine tune the Detonator reg and the springs later.

Started as a completely stock Victor 2

Now, e frame, regulator, drop forward with on/off, clamming neck, half blocked with a Dremel

Really have not spent any money on it, just parts that were laying aroundIMG_20190803_112115768.jpg

Here's my "modernized old school" Sniper build, that I've been playing with for a few years now.

I left it intentionally "plain jane" externally, to make a sleeper out of it. 'Course, I found out later that effort is largely wasted at my local field, since basically nobody recognizes it, and all the renters think that anything but a field rental Cronus is some high-end, laser-accurate Gunslinger's Special.

'Course, in this case it kind of is, but the "old school" nature of it is still utterly lost on them.

Anyway, it's largely a junk-box gun, although obviously the L-stock and rings are custom (I showed the first set here on MCB back in '14) and I set up a new-ish skinny 33ci tank with a Ninja reg and pin depressor to sort-of emulate the old 10-oz "Thermo" tanks in what used to be called "California Constant Air" configuration.

I've been keeping my eye out for a steel Unireg, as that's a little more "period correct" than the Black Ice I have on it.

Internally it uses a fairly modern valve, and with the modded bolt and a little spring tuning, I can get close to 600 shots from a solid 3K PSI fill on that tank.

I had a Freak-bored 16" All-American, but here I've got one of my new 10.5" Freak-XL "Bull" barrels on it, which I think looks a little more "old school". (I'm thinking of making myself a 14" version of the same barrel.)

It's still my go-to gun for pump play these days, though those opportunities are getting few and far between these days.

Doc.

Finally got around to ordering a docs autococker adapter and tanto barrel to finish this off. Now I've actually gotta get out and use it. Points and balances really nicely.

So many great Mag builds this year. That looks awesome man. Slap an 8-10ci tank on there and you're set.

I've got some 4oz co2 tanks that I use if I think I'm gonna be doing a lot of crawling around on certain fields.
