Looking for a under barrel granade launcher

Looking around for a friend, trying to find a rail mounded under barrel granade launcher. Must be able to fire nurf footballs

All I have found is MCS launchers but as far as I know those will not launch anything besides paintballs of various sizes

But, I am not a milsimmer so if anyone knows where I can find one I'd appreciate it

Under barrel grenade launchers can only fire from shells (that's where the air source is). He might be able to stuff a rocket into a hollow 40mm shell that's meant for foam balls. Metadyne used to make an under barrel rocket launcher, that was fed off remote.

I seem to recall a company making one modelled off the M203. Had a 1/8 NPT port that you could run to your ASA. This was quite a few years ago though. Like 2k6/7ish, so finding info probably isn't going to be easy.

My suggestion would be going the Metadyne route.. or figuring out your own.

So you have 3 options here-Metadyne Havoc, Scepter Grenade Launcher and the Tippmann EGL-47.

The Havoc is easily the best of the 3 and the easiest to find, but it's huge. It really doesn't fit well on a marker, it's really better as a standalone.

Scepters are still out there, but rare. They're tight for a nerf football but you CAN pack one in there if you really shove it and they work as underbarrel launchers pretty well.

The EGL-47 is the worst of both worlds. The valve assembly is massive but the bore is the same size as the Scepter so it's kind of a terrible choice.

All around though, I'd recommend against an underbarrel launcher. Get a dropleg holster and a Havoc with a pistol grip.

Check this place out. I quit using nerf rockets a few years back and started using the 40mm ones from here and love them.

Played with a guy who loved his Scepter. But he never liked having to make paint grenades... so he went to Costco and bought himself a __-pack of Twinkies. They worked a treat, and provided some comic relief.

I have a scepter that I have modified to be shorter and work off of a 12 gram. Last year I was launching the jumbo marshmellows out of it at the port-o-pottie while our teamate was in there.

O believe me, I've been trying to help him cut down the amount of gear he brings out to the field but even I can't argue with the effectiveness of the rockets in a big game and he wants to be able to shoot them.

Last year he went out with his dfender, a tipx pistol (because apparently it's milsim sin to not carry a pistol) and a full sized launcher strapped to his back. The launcher requires someone nearby to unstrap it from his back in order to use it.

So a under barrel launcher will lighten the load a bit and be much more practical since it won't require a second person to use

I don't think I'd be able to make it off the field without pooping myself from laughter if I got gogged by a goddamn Twinkie.
