Paint ordering?

Can any of you make a suggestion on where to buy more than a couple of boxes, less than a skid online?

I have been looking around and see a few various places. I have ordered small amounts from the "two big" places online and it arrived in less than shootable, get out a towel condition. We contacted another and they have no issue selling a +4 grand skid that they won't deliver to a residential address.....

Unfortunately the closest store outside a Wally and DSG is over an hour drive away. The field I frequent has paint more akin to a D20 (I thought the meme was pretty good, if you have seen it).

Suggestions appreciated.

13 min., I am surprised it took that long.

But really, listen to Jonny he plays almost every weekend in all weather. If he says Nelson works then it should.

I haven't used or even seen Nelson paint in well over a decade. Last I had was "battle box" IIRC. I will check into it.

Nelson is a great choice!

I'm personally spoiled as Social Paintball is a big paint suppler locally and I can order paint directly from them if needed. I normally get it from my local field but have ordered paint from them with great success. Mind you, they are on the smaller side of the bore spectrum.

We are actually looking to get paint from Social early next year or Valken, according to what we end up liking better and of course based on the terms. One of the guys we make scenarios with will be working closely with a team who are sponsored by them.
I haven't personally used their paint yet but he raves about it.

I am actually hoping we can put something together for Graffitti paint, I have never had a significant problem with it.

In the meantime I, and some of "the guys" need a few cases a piece to get us through to that point. The stuff at field is basically unshootable, even with high end equipment. We have talked to the field owner and he is not inclined to change from GI. There is a personal thing going on in the background as well as the money. I understand his point, but can't discount how crappy it shoots.

A skid of Valken is about 125 cases, how often do you think you would be making an order of any decent size? If you're buying 50-100 cases a month it shouldn't be too hard to start a dealer account.

^ Am aware of the quantities involved and since we (as a group) will not be using that much in a reasonable time frame will be piggybacking on the order of other groups "we" know. Thus why I was trying to find a location that would do "less than skid" amounts. Reasonably speaking we will probably be using in the neighborhood of half that in a 3-4 month period, but even at that don't really want to purchase so much that it crosses seasons. Paint ordered in winter or summer crossing over rarely performs well.

Alpha Sports was good when I ordered from them. I think we bought 60 cases of Valken for around $50/case with freight. But, I think they only ship to a "commercial" address if they set up shipping.

You can set it up for a liftgate delivery through a local LTL company, but it's going to cost a pretty penny.

Do you know anyone that works at place with a forklift or loading dock?

I can arrange for a commercial address, so to speak, just trying to avoid the hassle of all of us then going there to pick it up upon immediate notice to move it again.

I work from home, I wonder if that counts...lol. (I know what you mean)
