Collateral Damage

Anything of yours or someone else'es that got damaged in or after a game? Iv'e had a few balls break through the barrier net and nail my car at the speedball field. Also all the renters/dinaglings that shoot straight up in the air, Its bound to hit something

1 ball cost me $200 once

Playing outlaw ball, had a camera man on the field, I came around a structure and just saw someone with their arms outstretched towards me, pulled the trigger and as the ball expired my barrel realized it was a camera not a marker.

I regretted not buying the cheap paint that day as that ball was a straight laser out of my barrel to the camera, did not curve one bit

Props for paying for the lens but... err, seems like an obvious "only take things on the field that are fine to be shot" at thing. A hopper, mask, fan, pod, I've seen all of these get shot and break on the field. I'd think whether it's a go pro or a camera with a shield cover, hits are expected if you a field while players are playing a game.

I'm sure I've hurt a lot of people's pride....lol

But seriously, I once broke the tip off my barrel diving into the snake. It actually just curved at first. I noticed the paint was flying weird and it dawned on me that it was crooked. Straightened it out and it snapped off, so I played with a stubby barrel for the rest of the day.

I’ve had someone shoot through a pod once. I was more pissed I had to get rid of the balls it held. I also had some schmuck shoot the lid clear off my hopper. This would have been An amazing high five worthy shot, but he was a dickweed local team wanna be cool guy.

i once slipped and hit the dirt with my Phantom barrel first, the barrel was freak bored and snapped at the end of the threads... i'm now the owner of a phantom-threaded ring for a finger the size of a freak sizer!
