Out of town right now, but I can definitely take pictures and write it up when I get back. I have two of the cotton filters that are small (one came on the pump) and a big gold oil/water separator.

Speaking of an aerobic workout... Somebody should talk to their local fitness center, and hook up a bunch of the piston sections from either some Shoeboxes or these Chinese compressors to all the exercycles. Connect them all to a series of storage tanks with some good check valves, and you'll have all the compressed air your field can use.

Doc.
So is that what red means when he says he will "start the compressor"?

I imagine the shop compressor is powered by much simpler means.... Unicorns on treadmills or something

Time to go catch up on the last few weeks of comics, brb

I have one of the hand pumps if anyone wants to give that a shot. My tanks are huge. Much, much pumping involved. No bueno.

I have a hand pump as well. One of the cheap eBay ones, I think about $50. I've filled my 50ci tank about 10 times, which takes in the neighborhood of 700 pumps from empty to 4500. My 13ci takes about 200 pumps I think? I usually only do about 70 pumps at a time, with at least an hour in between to cool down. So the 13 doesn't take too long, but the 50 takes me a couple days

I have one of the yong heng ones with a little more than 20 hours run time. It works well but you have to be willing to tinker to keep it running and spend money on extras to keep water out of your tank. Lots of info and tips for building a complete setup on airgunnation and gatewaytoairguns.
