The rear screw should be 10-32 threads. The original ones I've seen were a phillips button head. Bacci has some in stock.

Managed to find a 10/32 that works with a little filing of the head. So that'll do for now. The threads on the grip aren't stripped.

Trying to get the hammer out is proving to be a real beeyotch. I bought a 3/32 pin punch and spent a little time trying to tap the pin out of the hammer, but it seems like it's in there pretty good. I hit it with some WD40 and let it sit overnight so maybe it'll be more inclined to move today. I just don't want to break anything...

Got the hammer apart finally. Cleaned all the gunk out, put it back together. Airs up and shoots with no leaks.

How is the pump action on these supposed to feel? It's pretty rough. I'm thinking phantom internals would probably smooth things out.

My 007 is close at hand so....

With Phantom internals and a new Phantom spring it's a little stiff but smooth.
If you're used to a Sniper it is a much heavier pump

I did thoroughly degrease the inside of my 007 with Dawn dishwashing fluid when I was refurbishing it. Gunk sometimes builds up in the main tube over the decades.

I've definitely got it good and cleaned out. I think it's actually the pump handle rubbing on the body that is causing resistance. It's easier to cock with just the knob. Maybe I need to work the handle down a bit.
