Is my board fried or an I missing something simple?

So, as many of you know, players blame boards and solenoids a lot of the time when the issue is not either

I'm really hoping this is the case here but wanted to run this situation by more people to see if I'm just missing something stupid

Bt tm-15

Selector switch has S F1 F2 F3.

S for safety obviously, when on modes 123 the marker ALWAYS does the same thing and NEVER is it semi auto. Sometimes is burst (and never 3 shot, always 6+) and is often full auto.

Go into programming mode, kick it between fire modes 1-5 will change what mode it fires on but again, F1-3 are all the same again

Tried factory reset, unless I did something wrong there it seemed to work as fire mode 5 is factory default and it was there after the reset which should mean F1 is semi auto but that was not the case

Any ideas?

I've never taken one of these apart, but my first thought is the selector switch might not be successfully moving the switch on the board itself?

Clean the contact points on the Switch. We had a tm7 that got shot on the switch and was acti funny for a while until I gave the switch a deep clean.

Change the battery. Sounds stupid but I had a Mini come in, that shot in full auto no matter what it was set to. Sent it to Kee to be repaired, it came back with a note saying everything was fine. The battery was in the box with the gun so I put it back in and tried it, still auto. Ended up changing the battery and it was allset. Kee didnt tech the gun with the battery that was in it.
