I used to cut caps like that and shoot them out my Crossman revolver. If you put them white side towards the air blast, they would burn like a tracer on the way out the barrel to about 20 feet or so. If you put them the other direction, they would fly out and detonate on a board or something at like 15 to 20 ft.

Thanks Painthappy! Aye it was a bit of work mostly setup/cleanup were the worst, and unfortunately I messed up the camera work on the Havoc shot (which only had 3 explos in it) but still looked dang cool.

Spece108 : Damn that's a good idea if it works. So cap facing forwards will cause it to burn in the air? The only other thing I tried was taping a cap to the back of a f/s, but that didn't do anything (was expecting pop in the barrel).
